Amazing Paintings

These are some of my favorite art work and I love it. It just gets my attention. Some of the art work could be based on feelings or what they are thinking.

Stella's painting are all woman and probably want to show that woman needs to be strong. Stella and Audrey's art work looks similar but different style. They are night and day...although they both frequently choose to use females in their art work, there is a massive difference once their vision the canvas/wood, tool. Stella just spent time overseas and returned with a tangle of emotions about the dark aspects of relationship. "Raveled" is described as the young painter's cathartic stab at sorting through "the side of human nature that is suppressed or unspoken in most people.

Te themes in Audrey's work are contradictions within themselves. Her work is both innocent and erotic. Each subject is attractive yet disturbing. Audrey's precise technical style is at once influenced by both manga comics and Art Nouveau. Her sharp graphic imagery is combined with the natural grain of the wood panels she paints on, bringing an unexpected warmth to enigmatic subject matter.
